Ukrainian “super drone”: Russian tank has no chance

The Russian war against Ukraine has been going on for 17 months. According to an article from the German news website merkur.de however, Ukraine is working on a new type of drone. Ukraine probably wants to keep it secret, but videos now allegedly provide the first indications.

According to merkur.de, Ukraine is repeatedly putting the Russian invaders and their battle tanks such as the T-90M to the test with fleets of kamikaze drones. Furthermore, the drone threat to Russia is likely to become even more serious in the near future. Merkur.de says Ukraine has managed to develop drones with an even higher explosive power, which can stop entire tanks. It is to be called Phoenix 03 Heavy UCAV. One refers to a video posted on Twitter (Video available here). A drone can be seen capturing and attacking what is presumed to be a Russian battle tank. This is followed by a camera change that shows a meter-high explosion.

According to merkur.de with reference to Forbes, Ukraine’s “super drone” is said to be an FPV kamikaze drone with a larger warhead. According to the website, several pounds of heavy explosives could be mounted on the drones. However, this information has not been confirmed.
