The Kremlin appeals to Ukraine and the USA to make concessions in the Ukraine conflict, as reported by the German news platform n-tv.de.
“In Kyiv and Washington, everyone must realize: Russia cannot be defeated on the battlefield,” Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov tells Russian media, despite recent setbacks for Russia. Peskov notes that if U.S. President Joe Biden still believes in the recapture of Ukrainian territories, it indicates that U.S. policy is at an impasse.
Peskow made these statements, according to the TASS agency, on the political show “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” on Sunday. He suggests that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, due to dwindling Western support, announces new offensives out of desperation. In the West, fatigue and reluctance are growing, Peskov observes, “to continue supplying Ukraine with money, weapons, and ammunition, especially now when these need to be delivered to Israel.”
These claims have not been independently verified or confirmed. Therefore, they should be viewed with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflicting parties to deliberately spread misinformation to strengthen their own position or weaken that of the enemy.
