“We must go through this winter together”:  Zelenskyy asks for more NATO aid

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has asked NATO for more support in view of the coming winter.

Specifically, he is concerned with air defense to protect energy infrastructure. According to n-tv.de he therefore called for more support during an unannounced visit by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.  Zelenskyy indicated that Stoltenberg wanted to help mobilize NATO countries on this point. “We need to go through this winter together to protect our energy infrastructure and the lives of our citizens,”  Zelenskyy further explained. It stands to reason that Russia will soon target Ukraine’s energy grid again as temperatures drop.
