Zelensky warns: “And then the countries of the EU and NATO are next.”

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, expressed concerns about the possible reduction of international support for Kyiv due to the conflict in the Middle East, as reported by the German news website n-tv.de.

During a press conference with Belgium’s Prime Minister Alexander De Croo in Brussels, he emphasized: “This development poses risks not only for Ukraine.” Zelensky warned that Russia could take advantage of this situation to gather new forces within one to three years and subsequently destroy the entire Ukraine. In addition, he warned that the countries of the European Union and NATO could be affected next. Therefore, he believes that the escalation in the Middle East is not a random event.

Last Wednesday, the Western defense ministers gathered in Brussels. First, in an extended discussion round in the “Ramstein Format,” where they talked about the West’s arms supplies to Ukraine. Then, within the framework of NATO with representatives of Ukraine, as the German news platform ZDF reported. During the consultations at NATO headquarters in Brussels, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg expressed confidence regarding international support for Ukraine and emphasized that the country need not worry, as n-tv.de informed.
