Zelenskyy Warns of Third World War: Russia Has “Raised a Second Hitler”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be present in person at the UN General Debate for the first time since Russia’s war of aggression on his country escalated. Before the start of the event, he warns of a Third World War. This reports the German news website n-tv.de.

The Russian public has lost the respect of the world public, Zelenskyy explains. “They elected and re-elected him (Russian President Vladimir Putin, editor’s note) and raised a second Hitler.” Time cannot be turned back, he said, but Putin can be stopped now. “If Ukraine falls, what will happen in ten years?” continues Zelenskyy. If the Russians reach Poland, will a third world war come, he asks. Therefore, he says, the world must decide whether to stop Putin or evoke the start of a world war.

Russia has been waging a war of aggression against Ukraine since the end of February 2022, in violation of international law. Western-influenced countries such as the USA, Germany and Great Britain support Ukraine with arms supplies, among other things, but want to prevent direct involvement in the conflict.
