Attack on Russian intelligence: FSB building hit by a drone

The headquarters of the Russian FSB intelligence agency in Kurchatov was hit by a drone. This is reported by the former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Anton Gerashchenko, via the Network X, formerly Twitter.

Gerashchenko writes: “Russian media report that a drone fell on the local FSB building. (…) According to an ‘official’ statement of the governor in Kursk region, a fire was detected in a non-residential building in the town of Kurchatov as a result of the attack by a Ukrainian drone. No one was injured.”

The FSB is the domestic intelligence service of Russia. Translated, the Russian name means “Federal Service for the Security of the Russian Federation”. Its main tasks are the protection of the state, domestic espionage and border service.
