Experimental sea drones used in attack on Crimean bridge

According to CNN’s report, the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) has claimed responsibility for the July 17 attack on the Crimean bridge, stating that an experimental sea drone was used in the operation. This reported the German news website n-tv.de.

According to CNN’s report, the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) has released footage showing the moment of the attack, which was carried out with the help of an overwater drone called “Sea Baby.” “Sea drones are a unique development of the Ukrainian Security Service,” Vasyl Maliuk, head of the SBU, told CNN. “No private companies were involved in this. We recently carried out a successful attack on the Crimean Bridge using these drones.”

The most current versions of the drone, which have been worked on since the beginning of the conflict, weigh up to 1000 kilograms. They are equipped with an explosive charge of up to 300 kilograms and have a range of 800 kilometers and a maximum speed of 80 km/h, according to the German news platform Berlin Newspaper.
