Flop for Putin: US Tank Continues Operating After Russian Drone Strike

The effectiveness of Russian drones is being questioned due to a video shared on Telegram. Despite the expansion of its own drone production, Russia experienced an embarrassing incident.

As reported by the Münchner Merkur, the video in question shows a US tank remaining unharmed and continuing to operate after a direct hit from an unmanned Russian drone. The video on the channel of Voenniy Osvyedomitel is alleged to show a Lancet drone hitting the vehicle. It’s stated that the “new ‘Lancet’ with target acquisition” hit the “American armored personnel carrier M2A2 Bradley ODS-SA with BRAT remote sensing” at the front of the vehicle.

Furthermore, it is claimed that it’s now possible “to record a precise arrival at the target without deviations.” To date, the footage has not been independently verified, and neither the location nor the date is provided. A new version of the Lancet is said to have been recently introduced to the market by Russia. According to Russian military bloggers, newer versions of these drones are equipped with an “automatic guidance system” that can differentiate between various types of targets, as stated by the Institute for the Study of Wars.
