In just 24 hours: Russia loses hundreds of soldiers

According to the General Staff of Ukraine in its daily update, Russia has already lost 266,290 soldiers since the beginning of the war of aggression in February last year.

These figures also include the 610 losses that, according to the The Kyiv Independent have been recorded in the past 24 hours. Russia also suffered the loss of a total of 4,497 tanks, 8,682 armored combat vehicles, 8,190 vehicles and fuel tanks, 5,685 artillery systems, 748 multiple rocket launchers, 505 air defense systems, 315 aircraft, 316 helicopters, 4,519 drones and 18 boats.

On Tuesday night, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down 15 of 25 Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones and all eight missiles launched from Russia. This was announced by the air force, according to The Kyiv Independent in the morning. Nine Russian Tu-95 bombers fired seven Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-555 cruise missiles from the area around Engels in Russia’s Saratov oblast, according to the report. In addition, Russian forces also launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile. Some 25 Shahed drones were launched in occupied Crimea, as well as from Russia’s Krasnodar region. According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, they have detected and shot down all seven cruise missiles, the Iskander ballistic missile, and 15 drones with the help of anti-aircraft missile systems, combat aircraft, mobile fire groups, and other defensive means.
