Russia Loses Fighter Jet: Major Blow for Putin

In the daily update from the Ukrainian General Staff, Russia’s losses were documented. Since the beginning of the war of aggression against Ukraine, Moscow has already lost 290,050 soldiers.

As reported by The Kyiv Independent, this figure also includes the 620 soldiers who have lost their lives in the past 24 hours. As the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense announced on the platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Russia has also lost a fighter jet, bringing the total number of destroyed jets to 319. In addition, Ukrainian forces managed to destroy six helicopters and shoot down ten drones in the last 24 hours. According to the report, Russia has additionally lost 4,981 tanks, 9,420 armored combat vehicles, 9,303 vehicles and fuel tanks, 6,944 artillery systems, 814 multiple rocket systems, and 547 air defense systems.

These claims have not yet been independently verified or confirmed. Therefore, they should be treated with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflicting parties to deliberately spread misinformation to strengthen their own position or weaken that of the opponent.
