Russia: Ukraine’s military resources “almost exhausted”

According to Russia’s assessment, Ukraine’s military resources are “almost” exhausted. This reports the German news website n-tv.de referring to Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu.

Speaking at a Russian security conference, Shoigu said that Kyiv was not achieving any successes, despite the West’s “total support.” At the same time, the Russian defense minister admits that the Russian military offensive against Ukraine has turned into a “serious test” for the Russian army. However, Shoigu goes on to state, in an attempt to invalidate the previous point, that Russia has managed to “greatly” increase the production of armored vehicles.

This information has not yet been independently verified and / or confirmed. For this reason, they should be evaluated with reservations. In war, it may be advantageous for parties to the conflict to make false statements about the course of the conflict in order to strengthen their own position or weaken that of the enemy.
