Russia upgrades its defense – and makes fatal mistake

Russia regularly faces drone attacks on its own territory. In response, the Russian military has erected metal towers on which Panzir S-1 anti-aircraft systems are stationed. This reports the German news website n-tv.de with reference to recordings of the state news channel Rossija 1.

In doing so, however, the TV station is making a big mistake – as reported by the media project NEXTA. This is because the corresponding images show not only one of Russia’s defense facilities, but also nearby residential buildings. As a result, journalists managed to determine the exact location of one of these facilities with the help of satellite images. NEXTA concludes that this mistake may now help Ukraine to disarm the defense facility.

NEXTA is a media project based in Warsaw. It positions itself against the regime of Belarusian ruler Alexander Lukashenko and publishes information not only on Telegram but also on YouTube, X and various other channels.
