Ukraine has destroyed six Russian tanks in the last few hours, as reported by The Kyiv Independent, citing the morning update from the Ukrainian General Staff.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on October 10 that since the start of its large-scale invasion on February 24 of the previous year, Russia has lost 283,080 soldiers in Ukraine. This number includes 450 losses that the Russian forces suffered just in the last 24 hours.
According to the report, Russia has also lost 4,829 (+6) tanks, 9,129 (+3) armored combat vehicles, 9,125 (+12) vehicles and fuel tanks, 6,713 (+7) artillery systems, 808 (+0) multiple rocket launchers, 544 (+1) air defense systems, 315 (+0) aircraft, 316 (+0) helicopters, 5,207 (+17) drones, and 20 (+0) boats.
These statements have not yet been verified and/or confirmed by an independent party. Therefore, they should be considered with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflicting parties to deliberately spread misinformation to strengthen their own position or weaken the opponent’s.
