Successful Ukrainian Attacks: Putin’s Black Sea Fleet Can No Longer Defend Itself

Recently, the Russian Black Sea Fleet withdrew. Now a Russian blogger has spoken up to give his perspective on the situation, as reported by German news website fr.de.

The blogger “Rybar” is known as a supporter of Russia’s unlawful war of aggression against Ukraine. However, he admits that the Russian Black Sea Fleet can no longer defend itself against Ukraine and therefore, retreating is the wisest option. “As hard as it is to accept, the Black Sea Fleet cannot fully guarantee its security right now,” says the Russian blogger. “As long as the enemy has access to the sea and the NATO air force is directing drones and missiles over the sea, the danger remains.”

Analyses by the American think tank ISW show that at least ten ships have been relocated to the port of Novorossiysk. Other ships are heading towards a port on the east side of Crimea, Feodosia. This followed several successful attacks by Ukraine on the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
