Video Shows Catastrophic Conditions in Russian Army

There are circulating online videos that allegedly document the cruel conditions in the Russian army, as reported by the German news website n-tv.de.

Some soldiers are accused of distributing drugs. As punishment, they are apparently mistreated, and there have even been reports of mock executions being carried out.

According to reports by Newsweek, there are repeated accounts of poorly trained and ill-equipped Russian soldiers losing their lives in combat. In a video published on platform X by Anton Geraschenko on social media, a Russian soldier said: ‘I am recording this video on behalf of the Kamchatka Battalion, which was just sent to be slaughtered. Here, 18-year-old kids without training have died. They didn’t even shoot because they have no ammunition.’

The soldier continued: ‘We were sent here empty-handed. Every day there are dead and wounded. People are dying. People are untrained. No equipment. We are holding our position as best as we can and not giving it up. But many of us are dying here.’ The soldier reported that many troops would soon die of ‘hunger and cold’ due to a lack of rations and appropriate clothing, especially as the cold winter months approach
