With warships and aircraft: USA intervenes in Israel conflict

Due to the comprehensive attack by Hamas on Israel, the U.S. military is increasing its presence in the region. Defense Secretary Austin announced the deployment of an aircraft carrier and additional ships to the eastern Mediterranean.

The United States plans to move ships and military aircraft closer to Israel, as reported by the German news platform Spiegel. U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin stated that the U.S. would be repositioning a carrier strike group, including the aircraft carrier “USS Ford” and other ships, closer to Israel. At the same time, they announced that they would be providing ammunition supplies to the Israeli military. This bolstering of military presence is seen as a sign of support following the Hamas attack, as reported by NBC, citing insider sources from U.S. agencies.

The military equipment can be relocated quickly, although the ships, in particular, are expected to arrive in the region in a few days. There are also plans for the evacuation of U.S. citizens from Israel, according to the report.
