According to official data from Kyiv, nearly 1000 Russian soldiers lost their lives in the Ukraine war within a day, as reported by The Kyiv Independent.
According to information from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, a total of 284,890 Russian soldiers have been “eliminated” since the beginning of the war in February 2022, as the German news website n-tv.de reports. This means they were either killed or are no longer able to participate in the fight. According to the daily reports of the Ministry of Defense on Russia’s losses, the opponent has additionally lost 42 tanks (a total of 4905). Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, Ukraine has counted more than 9200 armored vehicles and over 5200 drones that are either no longer in Russian possession or have been destroyed.
These claims have not yet been independently verified and/or confirmed. For this reason, they should be treated with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for warring parties to deliberately spread false information to strengthen their own position or weaken that of the opponent.
