Drone attack on Moscow: “The war returns to Russia”

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian president, speaks of a “return of war to Russia” after a drone attack on Moscow, as the German Website n-tv.de reports.

During a visit to the western Ukrainian city of Ivano-Frankivsk, Zelenskyy said that the war was gradually returning to Russia’s territory – to its “symbolic centers and military bases.” This process, he said, was “inevitable, natural, and absolutely just.”

According to media reports, the Russian capital Moscow was once again the target of a drone attack. According to the state news agency Tass, the Russian Defense Ministry said that a total of three drones were shot down. In the skyscraper district of Moskva City, where several ministries are also located, severe blast damage to a building was documented with photos. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, on the other hand, described the damage to the facades of two office buildings as “insignificant.” Nevertheless, glass fragments of destroyed windows crashed into the streets. According to rescue services, there was also one injured security guard. Earlier, Sobyanin had written on Telegram that there were neither fatalities nor injured, as the German tagesschau.de reported.
