Heavy attack on airfield: Ukraine destroys Russian aircraft

Ukraine has attacked a Russian airfield with drones. Russian aircraft were also damaged in the process. This reports the German news website merkur.de with reference to data from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.

According to the report, the attack on the Russian airfield has been the largest drone attack on Russian soil since the escalation of the Russian war of aggression in February 2022. Several heavy army transport aircraft were damaged at the Pskov airfield. Pskov Oblast Governor Mikhail Vedernikov says on his Telegram channel that the army is fending off a drone attack. Attacks also occurred in other Russian regions, including Kaluga, Moscow, Bryansk, Oryol, and Ryazan.
