Russia sends its shaheds into Ukraine – but Putin’s attack ends in disaster

Over 600 days have passed since the escalation of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. Yet, on October 23, Moscow is again attacking Ukraine with drones and missiles, as reported by the German news website n-tv.de, citing the Ukrainian Air Force.

The Ukrainian Air Force states that they intercepted all drones and a missile launched by Russia the previous night. All 14 drones were destroyed, according to Ukraine. Thirteen of them were of the Iranian Shahed type. A cruise missile was also destroyed, the Ukrainian Air Force informed via Telegram in the morning.

These statements have not yet been verified and/or confirmed by independent parties. Therefore, they should be treated with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflicting parties to deliberately spread misinformation to strengthen their own position or weaken the opponent’s.
