Russian Soldier on Kremlin: Putin Sends ‘Child Soldiers’ Without Ammunition into War

Despite ongoing losses, Russia continues its offensive in the Ukraine war. However, the price for territorial gains continues to rise, and now there is growing resistance within the army.

A Russian soldier has publicly denounced the precarious conditions for Putin’s troops, as reported by the German news platform merkur.de. According to the US news magazine Newsweek, which refers to a video on platform X, the soldier reported that even 18-year-old ‘child soldiers’ were being sent into the war of aggression without proper equipment. The war situation at the front is increasingly worsening for all soldiers, with hunger and cold looming, and a lack of food and winter clothing. Indeed, Russia’s losses have recently increased significantly. Since the start of the war on February 24, 2022, the General Staff of Ukraine states that the Kremlin’s forces have lost at least 313,470 soldiers. This was announced on Tuesday in a Facebook post.

These statements have not yet been verified or confirmed by independent sources. Therefore, they should be considered with caution. In war, it can be advantageous for conflict parties to deliberately spread false information to strengthen their own position or weaken that of the opponent.
