The situation worsens for the Ukrainian troops in the contested city of Avdiivka in eastern Ukraine, as reported by the German news website n-tv.de.
According to journalist Yuriy Butusov, who has strong military connections and writes on Telegram, the city is in the midst of an intense battle where the Russian enemy is deploying its main forces. Reports indicate that Russian military units have conquered an area approximately one kilometer wide along a railway embankment north of the city. Advances over the embankment towards the villages of Stepove and Berdychi, as well as the terrain where the city’s iconic coke plant stands, are expected. According to various sources, the supply corridor controlled by Ukraine has been reduced to a length of six to eight kilometers.
These claims have not yet been independently verified or confirmed. Therefore, they should be viewed with caution.
