“Ukrainian terrorist attack” in Russian city

According to its own data, Russian air defenses again repelled a Ukrainian drone over the southwestern border region of Bryansk during the night. This reports the German news website tagesschau.de.

The Defense Ministry in Moscow announced that the missile was destroyed. Alexander Bogomas, the governor of Bryansk Oblast, also confirmed via the Russian state news channel Tass that there was no damage or casualties. In recent weeks, Moscow has repeatedly reported similar drone strikes, calling them Ukrainian terrorist attacks. It is important to note, however, that these attacks are minor compared to Russia’s massive attacks in the more than 19-month-long war against Ukraine.

This information comes from a party to the conflict and has not yet been independently verified and/or confirmed. For this reason, they are to be evaluated with reservations. In war, it can be advantageous for parties to the conflict to deliberately disseminate false information in order to strengthen their own position or to weaken that of the opponent.
